Hello and welcome!
I am Philipp Daniel,
and my family has been running the Windjammer House with a lot of passion and commitment since 1989.
For my family, our team and me, it is a matter close to our hearts to offer you the perfect starting point for a relaxing and at the same time eventful holiday on the North Sea coast.
We want you to feel at home with us – in cozy and comfortable accommodation while you discover the beauty of our coast.
We do our best to answer your questions, fulfill your requests, and ensure that the house is always in impeccable condition. Of course, our house is an old East Frisian building with its own unique charm—sometimes this limits us, but we consciously combine traditional character with modern comforts.
We look forward to welcoming you as our guests soon—come and see for yourself what our special place behind the dike (heel wat Besünners) is like! Enjoy the peace and quiet, the fresh North Sea air, and the unique atmosphere.
And if you need tips on the best sights, activities, or hidden gems in the area, just ask! We'll be happy to help you get the most out of your stay.
Cheer up! Philipp Daniel & the team at Haus Windjammer
Our surroundings
Neuharlingersiel is a picturesque village on the North Sea coast of Germany and a popular holiday destination for families and couples alike.
The village offers a beautiful backdrop with its characteristic fishermen's houses, harbor, and dike that protects the coast from the rough waters of the North Sea. When you vacation in Neuharlingersiel, you have the opportunity to enjoy the fresh sea air and relax.
There are numerous activities you can enjoy, such as cycling, hiking, and water sports. There are also many restaurants, cafés, and bars where you can enjoy traditional North German dishes. One of Neuharlingersiel's main attractions is the harbor, where you can watch the fishermen at work. There is also a ferry service to the island of Spiekeroog, which is worth a day trip.
Neuharlingersiel also offers several shopping opportunities, including souvenir shops and stores selling local specialties such as fish and crab. There's also a weekly market where you can buy fresh produce from surrounding farmers.
To ensure you make the most of your stay in Neuharlingersiel, you should check the tide times, as the water level in the North Sea can fluctuate greatly.
