General terms and conditions of business

  • Booking and payment:
  • The holiday apartment is booked through a written or electronic request from the guest and a subsequent written or electronic confirmation from the landlord.
  • The booking must be paid in full in advance by the due date of the invoice (usually 30 days before arrival). The booking will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment. If payment is not received by the due date, the booking will be canceled and any claim automatically expires.
  • If you book through a third-party provider such as Booking.com, the terms and conditions stated there apply.
  • Cancellation:
  • Cancellation of the booking is possible free of charge up to 30 days before arrival.
  • For cancellations between 29 and 14 days prior to arrival, we charge 50% of the rental price. For cancellations 13 days or more prior to arrival or no-shows, we charge 100% of the rental price.
  • If you book through a third-party provider such as Booking.com, the terms and conditions stated there apply.
  • Arrival and departure:
  • Arrival is possible from 3:00 PM and departure is by 10:00 AM, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
  • Liability:
  • The landlord is not liable for theft, loss or damage to the guest's belongings during their stay in the holiday apartment.
  • The guest is liable for any damage that occurs during his stay in the holiday apartment.
  • If a key card is lost, a processing fee will be charged.
  • If the guest is unable to enter their accommodation due to a lost key card, they must notify the landlord immediately. Restoring access to the rented property may take up to 12 hours. The landlord is not liable for any damage caused to the guest as a result.
  • House rules:
  • Guests are responsible for informing themselves in advance about the applicable house rules in the holiday apartments and adhering to them before, during, and after their stay. This includes, in particular, leaving the apartment in a clean condition, properly disposing of garbage, and observing quiet hours.
  • If one or more of these house rules are violated, the property will be restored to its original condition at the expense of the person responsible. We also reserve the right to remove any person from the property and deny access to the accommodation in the event of serious violations. In these cases, no reimbursement of the person responsible will be made.
  • Force majeure:
  • The landlord is not liable for damages caused by force majeure, such as natural disasters or strikes.
  • Place of jurisdiction:
  • The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
  • The place of jurisdiction is the place where the holiday apartment is located.
  • Severability clause:
  • Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
  • In place of the invalid provision, the legally permissible provision shall apply which economically comes closest to the meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision.
  • Video surveillance
  • The outdoor area and the check-in area of the holiday home are continuously monitored by video and audio for the safety of our guests and the property. Upon entering the property, you consent to the local storage of your data for 30 days. This data will never be shared with third parties (except for legal purposes), is stored encrypted, and is only used for information in an emergency.
  • Data protection:
  • The landlord collects and processes the guest's personal data exclusively for the purpose of processing the booking and the stay in the holiday apartment. The data will not be shared with third parties unless necessary to fulfill the contract or required by law. The guest has the right to access, correct, and delete their personal data at any time.
