Dear visitors, we would like to welcome you to our Haus Windjammer.
The Haus Windjammer is located on the North Sea coast, in the fishing village of Neuharlingersiel, directly behind the dike on a small mound. It was built in the late 60s in the typical East Frisian style. The name Windjammer is not only influenced by the constantly stiff breeze on the coast, but also shows our connection to the sea, ships, and conquerors of the waves. We are proud of our region and its culture, and if you want to experience East Frisia, you have come to the right place.
Our four apartments are named after famous large sailing ships, the Windjammers. They are lovingly furnished and offer space for 2-6 people each. Each apartment has a couch and TV area, a dining area with access to a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking and eating. The bedrooms are comfortable and provide a quiet environment for a restful night's sleep. Of course, the apartments also have a private bathroom with a toilet and shower.
Due to the perfect location of the house, all relevant places in Neuharlingersiel can be reached within a 15-minute walk. You are on the dike in 2 minutes, at the beach in 4 minutes. It takes you 15 minutes to walk to the harbor of Neuharlingersiel, and you can reach the excellent swimming pool and sauna area of the bathhouse in under 10 minutes. There are shopping opportunities everywhere, and if you want to do your weekly shopping, you can also reach the largest supermarket in Neuharlingersiel in under 15 minutes on foot.
Attention windsurfers!
The kitesurfing hotspot Windloop Neuharlingersiel is located directly opposite our accommodation, on the other side of the dike. So you can store your equipment with us, take it under your arm in the morning, and be at the water in less than 5 minutes. And when you've had enough of the salty seawater, you can quickly "go home" under the freshwater shower. But please always remember: there are tides!
And if you don't want to go that far, you can relax in our large garden, which with its lawn and sun loungers not only invites you to relax but can also be used for picnics, games or barbecues. Some apartments also offer a separate terrace that you can use all to yourself. There are seating areas and tables everywhere. In addition, our guests have access to free parking and Wi-Fi. The surrounding area offers many leisure activities such as cycling, hiking, water sports, and much more. A spontaneous short trip to one of the beautiful East Frisian islands is always possible.
